For the 9th time in 7 years, the organisations that would like to make their commitment towards diversity and diversity management public, are invited to officially sign the Divesity Charter Lëtzebuerg. During an official signing session, the 2019 signatories will be honored in presence of the Minister for Family and Integration and Patron of the Diversity Charter, Mrs Corinne Cahen.

This key moment in the Diversity Charter agenda will be followed by a keynote on linguistic diversity in the workplace.

According to the "Diversity & Business" Barometer published in 2018, multilingualism is one of the Grand Duchy's assets but also one of the most important topics addressed regarding  the diversity management policies among the signatories of the Charter. And for a good reason, linguistic diversity in the workplace can have an impact on recruitment and team dynamics. It can have an inclusion or exclusion effect, the role of management and training, therefore, having a crucial role in its proper management. 

Around a keynote by Hélène Langinier, teacher-researcher and Doctor in Management Sciences at EM Strasbourg, we will discuss linguistic diversity in the workplace: What are the benefits and disadvantages?  How can the effects of linguistic diversity be managed? Which good practices exist?

When? Thursday, September 26 from 6 pm (welcoming from 5.30 pm for new signatories)

For whom? Open to all in the limits of the available places
