By signing the Charter, organisations commit to fighting all forms ofdiscrimination and to setting up a policy in favour of equal opportunities and diversity, focused on the acknowledgement and valuing of individual skills.

Signing the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg is the first step of a long term process. By committing to promoting and managing diversity, the organisation will have to clearly determine its actions in favour of diversity, select the priority issues in respect of its context and establish a diversity management policy.

In order for this commitment to be more than just a declaration of intent – which would be detrimental to all the signatories – the organisation must apply this policy in action plans and initiatives in order to lead to concrete results. Signatories commit to publishing information every two years on the activities they led and the progress they made in the implementation of the Charter as well as completing an online evaluation survey of their progress.

The Committee for the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg reserves the right to revoke (exclude from the list of signatories) an organisation if it doesn't report at least one best practice every two years and if it doesn't complete the online survey.

Valuing diversity within an organisation implies a voluntary and proactive approach. The Committee for the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg has set up a dedicated structure with qualified staff in order to offer free services to the Charter signatories:

Signatory companies and institutions will be visible and listed on this website.

The next signing session will take place in 2023.

All organisations, of any size and sector, located in Luxembourg, are invited to sign the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg. An organisation who would like to sign the Charter should contact the Committee for the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg at IMS Luxembourg.

The subscription will be done in several steps:

The IMS members can subscribe to the Diversity Charter for free (no aditionnal cost to their membership).
