In practice: Disability and Business

  • Description
  • Registration

Your company is looking for practical solutions on Handicap in the workplace, attend our workshop to discover two ideas of action:

  • when hiring a person with a disability, have the reflex to call on the inclusion assistant
  • your company can collaborate with a workplace for professional inclusion; we will explain who they are and how to create win-win partnerships

1. Integrating a person with a disability and using the inclusion assistant.
The inclusion assistance activity aims to support and promote the inclusion of disabled employees and outplacement employees in the mainstream labour market by providing support tailored to the needs of employees and employers.

To present the measure and its functioning, we welcome Tania Fernandes Inclusion Assistance Coordinator - ADEM.

After that, we will have a session of questions and debates with the participants.

2. Sheltered Workshops - Companies: what bridges are possible?

This event will be the occasion for IMS and the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg to release the first guide explaining what sheltered workshops are and what are the possible bridges between a workplace for professional inclusion and a company.

Nancy Thomas, Director - IMS Luxembourg, will present the guide Bridges, companies & sheltered workshops in Luxembourg
